BEST MEDIUM CAKE 2026

FUNKE – FUNKENWEIDE SCALA

Funke’s Funkenweide Scala has done it again and won the Best Medium Cake award for the second year running.  This 25-shot category F3 cake with a whopping 675g of NEC produces some of the longest hanging golden brocades that we have ever seen in retail fireworks. Funke are renowned for packing huge effects into 30mm tubes, but Funkenweide Scala might have the biggest breaks of their entire range. This is genuinely one of the most impressive fireworks the UK market has ever seen and is reminiscent of, but much larger than Jorge Fireworks’s legendary Enigma cake.
