Caracticus Potts have won their first ever award for their huge 60 shot 30mm tube Titan of the Ocean. As the name suggests, there is plenty of blue in this cake which combines with dirty gold to create a stunningly beautiful colour scheme throughout. The cake begins with huge blue peonies with gold horsetail pistils, each overlapping to create a stunning column of effects. A torrent of blue peonies with gold swimming stars is then unleashed, followed by a quieter section of beautiful gold and blue horsetails before a final volley of blue peonies to gold chrysanthemum crackle ends the cake in style. It’s big, it’s loud but it’s also a beautiful example that the combination of gold and blue can produce a truly stunning and professional looking effect.
